Personal Description:

I am a native Thai speaker and a natural teacher at heart. I am very passionate about teaching and based on all of the feedback that I have received, I am a successful educator. I find teaching to be invigorating and derive a great deal of satisfaction, both from being innovative in the classroom and from seeing my students succeed. I have had the sole responsibility for teaching many subjects in my career. I enjoy teaching so much and willcontinue doing this for a living . I am talented ,creative ,patient, helpful, understanding, caring and kind so please feel free to contact me.

Teaching Experience: Professional experience gained within varied practical and developmental roles. I believe a mature, constructive and selective teaching approach, combined with a constructive working relationship between staff, students and parents is crucial to a responsive student attitude. It also engenders a successful learning environment and meets the needs of children and school mandates. I am experienced in teaching students of all ages from primary schools, colleges and universities.I am also experienced in teaching one-to-one Thai lessons , small groups and in the classrooms(speaking, reading , writing and listening) from beginners to fluent speakers of the language. I also help people who are willing to learn Thai on social networks.

Teaching Approach:

As each student has a different background in the language, in the first lesson, I will discuss the students' needs - why do they want to learn Thai, what are their expectations from me and what my expectations are of them and from this we can then plan the lesson together.

I use the phonetics and the linguistics in explaining how to pronounce Thai correctly.

I always repeat the lessons to the students, make sure that they understand and try to apply what they have learned in different situations. I pay attention to the students and make them want to succeed and do their best, rather than putting forth the usual minimum effort.

I make learning fun and the course enjoyable, as the most effective way to learn is by learning in a relaxed and fun environment. Students will feel this is a more natural approach, like talking in daily life situations and learn the Thai language through conversations which actually take place amongst Thai people, not simply memorise words from a textbook. What I teach is practical and thought in a friendly fashion, never strict or boring...you will never feel sleepy like learning in the other classrooms!
